Spring 2020 Update
To our friends and neighbours of the College Promenade,
We are writing to you at this time to introduce you to the Clifton Blake team and to inform you of the exciting things planned for your neighbourhood.
As many of you are aware, we are now well into the planning phase of the construction of The Carvalo at 899 College St. W. We have initiated the permit process and have been granted early work permits for activities such as earthmoving work, shoring and excavation, which you may witness ongoing at this time.
Amidst the COVID-19 crisis, we want to assure you that our biggest priority is the health and safety of our crew and surrounding neighbours. We are working closely with our construction team to ensure that all sanitation and social distancing protocols are in place and are being strictly enforced.
We recognize that everyone in the community is currently staying safe in their homes and want to thank you in advance for your kindness and understanding regarding any disruption you may be facing at this time due to the construction. As an essential business, we must continue with our operation. With that said, we are also mindful of the situation at hand. We know this can be inconvenient and our team will do our best to prevent unnecessary disruption.
We will be updating you regularly as the project evolves. It is our intention to keep local residents informed and ensure appropriate measures are put into place to protect buildings, trees, lands and the safety of residents at all adjacent properties during the construction of the development.
This is an exciting new project that not only will offer modern and elegant housing to over 100 renters and buyers, but will help enrich businesses on the College Promenade. We look forward to joining your vibrant community and positively impacting the local economy.
Over the next 60 days, here’s what you can expect:
- Site operations from 7am-4pm Monday to Friday.
- Continued site mobilization - temporary services, dewatering and protection.
- Shoring - drilling of piles and lagging.
- Below ground structural elements - ground improvements.
- Commencement of Bulk Excavation
We appreciate your ongoing support.
