May 2021 Update

To our friends and neighbours of the College Promenade, 

Despite some extremely rainy days, April proved to be a productive month on-site. To date, our crews have poured over 1,500 meters cubed of concrete for slabs, columns, and beams, and some structural elements are now passing the second floor. The City of Toronto’s Water department has commenced the incoming water piping and preparations for the new hydro service are well underway.

Now that we’re in May, Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and businesses on the College Promenade are stepping up for the occasion! Bake Shoppe has a full Mother’s Day menu filled with delicious baked goods, Prairie Boy Bread has a variety of unique and charming gifts for sale, and Health Hut is selling specialty tulip bouquets. Purchasing from any one of these establishments is a great way to support local businesses while also getting your mom an amazing gift.

Seeing The Carvalo starting to take shape in the incredible College Promenade has been a true joy. We’re looking forward to another productive month ahead with fewer showers and more May flowers.
